Sunday, January 3rd, 10:00-11:30 & 12:30-14:00

For success in yoga, it’s important to establish a constant, regular practice, with the right intention. In this workshop we will discuss what exactly this means and create our own intention.

Also, the New Year is a perfect time to return to the basics. Facing everything with a “beginners-mind” will help you even if you’re already advanced, to access the parts of yoga that you may often take for granted.

In this class, we will focus on the standard poses with a bit of a twist. We might access the poses in new ways, or add different variations to shake up your normal routine and bring your mindset to one of learning, staying present and aware and less of their known path of asana.

Program:
The first class, by Sarah, starts with Pranayama (breathing techniques) and an introduction to the Bandhas (energetic locks) before moving through a powerful Vinyasa class focusing on the basic postures, with a bit of a twist.

The second class, by Daniel, is a gentle Yin Yoga and Meditation class, designed to bring your energy into balance, let go of any tension and create a calm, receptive and aware mind. You will leave this 3h workshop feeling uplifted, energized and grounded, ready to head off into your new year.
